Your memberships, donations, and gifts of time and skills facilitate the maintenance of documents and photographs, and support educational programs and the dissemination of our history via tours, special events, and movies. Ways to contribute

ONE-TIME CONTRIBUTION
The Ferndale Museum is able to maintain our exhibits and collections through the committed support of our members and donors. We offer a number of ways for our supporters to make tax-exempt donations to the museum. You may give in the form of a one-time donation, as a charitable bequest through planned giving or in memorial donations to honor family members or friends.

Donation

PLANNED GIVING
To include the Ferndale Museum, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in your will, living trust, retirement plan, life insurance or other planned gift, the following language may be used: “I give to the Ferndale Museum, located at 515 Shaw Avenue, Ferndale, California 95536, the following: (Here state the amount, type of property, or percentage of your estate) for its general purposes, as determined by its board of trustees (or here state the purposes for which the funds are to be used).” The Ferndale Museum’s Federal Tax ID number is 36-2167011. If you have a specific use in mind for your gift, please let us know so that we are able to obtain enough information to understand precisely how you envision your gift being used at the Ferndale Museum.

For more information, please contact Pete Bansen (Vice President, Board of Trustees) at 707-496-3318.

MEMORIALS AND TRIBUTES

Memorials
A memorial is a meaningful way to remember a loved one who has passed away by making a donation in his or her memory. There is no restriction on the amount. We will send a note to the family (or whomever you designate), notifying them of your thoughtful remembrance.

Tributes
A tribute is a way to mark special anniversaries or occasions or to honor an individual who has made a difference in your life. Tribute donations are given for anniversaries, births, birthdays, confirmations, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, weddings, and professional milestones, such as promotions and retirements—or as a personal thank you.

Memorials and Tributes give you an opportunity to publicly honor family, friends, and colleagues, while supporting the Ferndale Museum. We will send a letter to the honoree or whomever you designate, acknowledging your gift. If you would like to arrange a memorial or tribute, please call us at 707-786-4466.
